Responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving web applications. Their core responsibilities include:
1. Development and Maintenance
• Write clean, well-designed PHP code using CodeIgniter or Laravel Framework
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Maintain and optimize existing codebases for performance.
2. Database Management
• Design and implement database schemas.
• Write complex SQL queries and ensure database security.
• Optimize database performance and handle migrations.
3. Integration
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Work with APIs to fetch and display data.
• Implement third-party integrations such as payment gateways or social media.
4. Collaboration
• Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
5. Testing and Documentation
• Perform unit testing and validation to ensure application reliability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
6. Security
• Implement security measures such as data validation and encryption.
